donna196x196
Donna comes from a family that has been strengthened and honed by their fight against Crohn’s disease. As a patient, family member and former patient care worker, she learned skills in each position that have helped the Chronically Awesome through many of the trials they have faced. She shares how to speak with care staff and how to take charge of your care with the many tools that she has picked up along the way.

As a Co-Host on Chronic Chronicles, Donna has shared her struggles dealing with Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and Auto-Immune Arthritis. She has also opened up about myriad topics including: Exercise, Invisible Illness, Spotlight Illnesses, Pacing Yourself, Sex and a slew of other topics – all pertaining to the Chronically Awesome individual and family.

Donna is also an avid blogger. Much of her blog material has been written and shared in conjunction with many of the Chronic Chronicle followers. You can find Donna’s blog posts on ChronicallyAwesome.org as well as www.healthierstay.wordpress.com

Donna is always happy to share her experiences with her illnesses, life with a pain pump, living on disability and any other advocacy questions you may have. You can reach Donna via our Contact Us page.
